New Registration 1 st March 2012

February 08, 2012 Richard's Rant by Richard Morgan

I know it could not really be called fun biking weather but down here in sunny Chichester so far we have avoided the dreaded white stuff, sadly though it cant be said of Bologna home of the Ducati factory that is presently under a snow siege, and the Ducati factory has had to close. This is going to have a knock on effect on both bike supply and parts supply.

So its not just the UK that comes to a halt with a bit snow. Hopefully it will not delay the incredible new 1199 Panigale, check out all of the motorcycle press next week as the press launch is this weekend, it will take the world by storm..... and i dont mean a snow storm..

Its not just the new Ducati 1199 Panigale that is being launched we have just taken delivery of our new GSXR1000L2 Suzuki and its really lovely, the exhaust is neater the motor feels stronger and its fantastic value so come down and have a look, the official launch day is this Saturday and Suzuki have some really good offers running so with the new reg plate coming out on 1st March this could be the perfect time.

Our Clothing sale has started and we have some monster never to be repeated bargains that are end of line and for most of it, you cannot buy at a lower price anywhere.... I know that is brave words but check our prices Nicola has worked hard to make sure everything is very keenly priced. She has been very busy adding these amazing bargains to our on line shop so you can compare prices from home but please check that we still have what you want before you order as stock is limited and it might not be taken off, if it is sold in the shop first.

So when you see in Motorcycle News that motorcycling costs will go up now we have lost George Whites what they really mean is that they have lost out on a huge amount of advertising revenue because no dealer now takes a double page spread, in reality the motorcycle trade has always been competitive, and having survived nearly 70 years in this cut throat industry we have always been very price and service aware if not we would have gone long ago, today we still make sure we can compete with anyone. BUT if in our mind a deal is not worth doing .. we dont do it.. there are a few very desperate dealers out there....Don't make the mistake a lot of Geroge White customers made and lost their bikes and substancial deposits because the dealer they tried to deal with went bust. Go to someone you can trust  ... Same faces same people same shop and we are still here looking after you... we must be doing something right.....
